Facility Rules

Facility Rules

We care about you and your dogs safety and cleanliness. These rules are implemented for the safety of you and your dogs -these rules must be respected at all times. Please read these rules carefully before entering the facility.

FACILITY

  • GATE and DOOR code will be emailed to you on booking

  • Please leave the white metal Entrance Gate OPEN (effective for Fall and Winter seasons). 

  • Please make sure lights are turned OFF in the arena and barn before you leave​.

  • Please ensure both North and South barn doors are LOCKED before you leave.

  • Arena FANS will remain ON 24/7 for the winter season. These fans help push the warm air down to keep the arena warm. 

EQUIPMENT 

  • Dogs are NOT permitted to pee or poop on the agility equipment or in the arena.  

    • If this happens, remove any material and spray the area with the deodorizer provided in arena.

  • Agility equipment is for canine companion / "sport dog training" use only.

  • Crates and chairs in the indoor arena are provided for customer use.

  • Rocky View K9 Sport Arena is NOT to be used for OFF leash and/or "loose dog" playtime purposes. 

HUMANS

  • ​Please use the PORT-A-POTTY (with sink) now inside the arena for Fall and Winter. In addition the indoor barn bathroom will be available for customer use. Please do not flush anything in toilet except toilet paper as it only has a limited septic holding tank.

  • Climbing or sitting on agility equipment is NOT permitted.

DOGS

  • ON LEASH at all times unless they are running on the agility course.

  • Potty dogs in designated areas only - field behind the dumpster (NE of arena).

    • Do NOT allow dogs to pee/poop on buildings, trees, planters and/or outdoor furniture.

  • Always pick up after your dogs. Failure to pick up feces will result in a $20.00 fine.

  • Dogs in heat/season must wear panties in the building unless running the course. 

    • Please clean contact equipment with deodorizer (provided in arena) if the dog is running the course without panties. 

    • Please bench dogs in heat/season in your own crate OR out of your car.

  • Customer dogs are NOT permitted in the Barn (the area with 10 Box Stalls).  Only Staff dogs are permitted in the Barn area and may be at large in this area. 

  • Over flow Dog Benching in specifically marked barn box stalls is permitted for Trials,  Events, Seminars and/or Tournaments. 

  • Continuous barking will not be tolerated.

  • Dogs must be under control by owner at all times with a leash attached to both the dog and the human unless running in the arena.

  • Rocky View Arena is not responsible for dogs at large that go off property.

    • Be mindful of our proximity to our neighbors at all times.

    • There is livestock near by and both your dog and the livestock are at risk.

NO SMOKING ON SITE

WATER:  Please DO NOT pour any water (including water from dog dishes) on the arena dirt. This is special DUST FREE footing for our sport dogs and it cannot be watered.
